What does Virgin domestic travel insurance cover?
Virgin’s domestic travel insurance policy will cover you for a range of things, including travel delays, trip cancellations, and theft or loss of luggage and/or personal effects.
Please note that exclusions may apply, including losses or injuries sustained while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, and operating/riding motor vehicles without the appropriate licence.

What does Virgin international travel insurance cover?
Virgin’s Basic international travel insurance policy will provide you with cover for medical and hospital expenses, personal liability cover and nothing else.
Its Essentials international travel insurance policy then adds cover for cancellation fees and lost deposits, additional expenses, travel delay expenses, loss of luggage and personal effects, and delay expenses relating to luggage and personal effects.
Its Comprehensive international travel insurance policy then adds cover for accidental death and permanent disability, alternative transport expenses, travel documents, transaction cards, travellers cheques and theft of cash.
Please note that exclusions may apply, including the exclusions mentioned previously for domestic policies, law-breaking behaviour, travelling into ‘no-go’ zones, ignoring a doctor’s advice and pregnancy complications.
