Bank of Melbourne offers a variety of domestic and international travel insurance policies. For international travellers, it offers either a comprehensive or an essentials plan, depending on the level of cover you require. A domestic travel plan is available for travel within Australia and a multi-trip option is available for domestic or international use, provided the trip journey includes a destination as least 250 kilometres from your home. Bank of Melbourne also offers a non-medical plan.
International and domestic policies may be purchased for an individual, couple or family, except for the mon-medical plans which cover individuals only.
What does Bank of Melbourne domestic travel insurance cover?
Bank of Melbourne’s domestic travel insurance policy will cover you for lost, damaged or stolen luggage, cancelling your trip unexpectedly, rental vehicle excess and personal liability, among other risks.
Please note that exclusions may apply including, but not limited to, claims arising from incidents outside of the insured period, claims involving consequential loss or claims arising from failing to take reasonable care of yourself.
