  • Late repayment fee: $30
  • Contactless payments: Available with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, Fitbit Pay and Garmin Pay. 
  • Security: Card protected by fraud protection and Mastercard SecureCode™ technology.

What are the eligibility requirements for the Latitude GO Mastercard?

To be eligible for a Latitude GO Mastercard, you need to be 18 years old or over and an Australian citizen or permanent Australian resident. You must be able to supply a copy of your driver licence, passport or proof of age, as well as details of your income, assets and debts and your employer’s name and contact details. How do you apply for a Latitude GO Mastercard?

If you do choose to apply for a Latitude GO Mastercard, and you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply online. You will be required to provide an email address, a mobile phone number and either an Australian driver licence or Australian passport. Other information you may need on hand includes your personal details, employment details, assets, liabilities and living expenses.

How do you activate a Latitude GO Mastercard?

You will need to activate your Latitude GO Mastercard when it arrives before you can use it. Latitude Financial Services says you can activate your card by calling them on 1300 552 079 to set up a PIN, or online through their Online Service Centre, via an SMS code.

Can you manage a Latitude GO Mastercard through online banking?

You can manage your Latitude GO Mastercard through an online portal or via the Latitude App, which is available for both Apple and Android devices. Latitude Financial Services says you can manage your account and update your account details, access statements and view pending transactions through its online portal, and check your balance, check payment due dates, view all transaction information and pay someone by bank transfer via the app.

How is interest calculated on a Latitude GO Mastercard?

When interest is charged:

Interest is charged when you carry a balance on your Latitude GO Mastercard beyond the month pay cycle. Interest is charged on cash advances daily from the date the transaction is made until the date the transaction is paid in full.

When interest is not charged:

At the time of writing, there is an interest-free period of up to six months for purchases of $250 or more if you meet the interest-free criteria. Interest-free days only apply if you have paid the balance in full for the previous month’s statement and for the current month’s statement (the statement on which the purchases are listed). There is no interest-free period for cash advances. At the time of writing, Latitude Financial Services offers interest-free periods of up to 60 months for eligible purchases from its selected retail partners, so long as the customer meets the criteria for a particular offer.

What is the credit limit on a Latitude GO Mastercard?

Your credit limit for a Latitude GO Mastercard will be determined based on the information you provide in your application, keeping in mind the minimum credit limit is $1,000.

Latitude Financial Services says you can ask to increase or reduce your credit limit at any time online, either by completing a form on their website or logging into the online service centre. Latitude Financial Services reserves the right to reduce your credit at any time without notice. Latitude Financial Services says your eligibility for credit or a particular credit limit will be subject to its lending criteria.

How do you close a Latitude GO Mastercard?

You can submit a request for your Latitude GO Mastercard to be closed online or through the Latitude app. If an outstanding balance remains, your account will not be closed until you have paid off the balance in full, along with any interest, fees or other charges.
