Community First Credit Union Limited has been in operation since 1959, and as the name suggests, it is run with the intention of benefiting its local community first, as a customer-owned credit union.

As a mutual institution, Community First delivers profits to its members rather than shareholders, in the form of improving services, and offering more products and lower rates.

From humble beginnings, Community First has grown over 50 years to be the largest community-based credit union operating in the Sydney and Central Coast region. They now have 15 financial services stores (branches), serving more than 68,000 members.
