Eligibility to apply for Qudos Bank credit cards

In order to apply for a Qudos Bank credit card, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • Be in current paid employment
  • Not declared bankrupt

How to apply for a Qudos Bank credit card

If you meet the criteria above, then you can apply for a Qudos Bank credit card either online or by filling out a credit card application form and handing it into a local branch. You will need to have the following documentation on hand when applying for a Qudos Bank credit card:

  • Your employment details
  • Your annual income
  • Your usual living expenses
  • Your current living situation, such as your address and the number of dependents you have
  • Details about assets you own such as a home, car, other belongings, or savings
  • Any debts you currently owe on other credit cards, loans, or overdrafts

If you are not an existing Qudos Bank member, you’ll need to verify your identity by providing your driver’s license, Medicare card, or passport.

Qudos Bank Credit Card FAQs

You will have to activate the card when it arrives before you are able to use it. You can activate your Qudos Bank credit card by logging into online banking, calling them, or visiting them in a branch with your card.

You can manage your Qudos bank credit card through either mobile or online banking. Mobile and online banking with Qudos Bank lets you manage your transaction history, view account balances, activate and deactivate new cards, and more.

When interest is charged

Interest is charged when you carry a balance on your Qudos Bank credit card. Interest is charged on balance transfers from the date of the transfer and cash advances from the date of withdrawal.

When interest is?not?charged

Up to 46 or 55 days interest-free days can apply on purchases depending on your choice of card, if your account is paid in full by the due date each month. No interest-free days are eligible for holders of the Lifestyle credit card.

Your credit limit for a Qudos Bank credit card will be determined based on the information you provide in your application, with minimum and maximum credit limits applying to each card (see above).

You can request to change your credit limit at any time by contacting Qudos Bank, and they may approve or reject requests at their discretion based on their lending criteria.

 

You can close your Qudos Bank credit card at any time by contacting them, but you must repay any outstanding balance even after cancelling. You will continue to receive monthly statements until your card balance is fully repaid.
