Qudos Bank was founded in 1959 by 14 Qantas employees as the Qantas Staff Co-operative Credit Union. Initially restricted to only Qantas employees, in 1996 membership was extended more generally to the Australian public.

The Credit Union was rebranded Qudos Bank in 2016, to reflect its move from a Qantas employee only organisation. Today Qudos Bank has over 100,000 members and assets totalling more than $3.35 billion.

As a customer-owned bank, all profits go back to members in the form of competitive rates and fees. Qudos Bank publishes a weekly competitor weekly report, to prove it can beat the big 4 banks when it comes to loan and deposit accounts.

Qudos Bank are also one of the only financial institutions in the country that rewards members with Qantas points, due to their close affiliation with the airline.

You can compare other Qudos Bank products on the Canstar website including Qudos Bank home loans, personal loans, savings accounts, term deposits, life insurance, car insurance, and home insurance.
