You can sign up your company for CBHS Corporate Health insurance online after comparing health insurance on our health insurance comparison pages and clicking on one of their products.
Yes. You can manage your CBHS Corporate Health insurance policy and receive policy documents online. Unless you specifically ask for a printed copy, CBHS Corporate Health will send you policy documents, tax statements and other communications electronically. For extra assistance with managing your policy, you can call CBHS on 1300 586 462.
Yes. Your health insurance does not cover your employees while they are overseas. If people covered by the policy are travelling overseas, they will need travel insurance. CBHS Corporate Health does not offer travel insurance. You can compare travel policies on the Canstar website.
And vice versa – travel insurance only covers someone while they are away from home on a trip. While employees are in Australia, the company will need health insurance if it wants to cover its employees for private healthcare costs. CBHS Corporate Health extras policies cover preventative, general, and major dental services. The level of cover you need will depend on the complexity and cost of the dental procedures you would like to cover for your company’s employees.
Once an employee has received medical treatment or made a purchase covered by your company’s policy, the next step is to make a claim. There are several ways to lodge a claim with CBHS Corporate Health:
- On-the-spot: Around 20,000 Australian specialist providers have the HICAPS or Isoft electronic claim system. Your employees will need to bring their CBHS Corporate Health insurance membership card to their appointment to process the claim immediately.
- Online: Log into your CBHS Corporate Health Member Centre to make your claim online. Simply enter the details found on your receipt, and have the payment account details for where to send the rebate from CBHS Corporate Health.
CBHS Corporate Health will then make the payment by direct credit to your nominated bank account. If you have any questions or need help filling out your claim form, call CBHS Corporate Health on 1300 586 462.
For hospital treatment, hospitals will bill CBHS Corporate Health directly for everything except the excess that may apply.
