Yes. You can manage your St.Luke’sHealth health insurance policy and receive policy documents online. You can also download the St.Luke’sHealth Mobile Claiming App. Unless you specifically ask for a printed copy, St.Luke’sHealth will send you policy documents, tax statements and other communications electronically.

Yes. Your health insurance does not cover you overseas. If you are travelling overseas, you need travel insurance.

St.Luke’sHealth does not offer travel insurance, but members can receive a discount on travel insurance with partner travel insurance providers. You can compare travel policies on the Canstar website.

St.Luke’sHealth extras policies include dental plans as standard in their policies. The level of cover you need will depend on the complexity and cost of the dental procedures you would like to have covered.

Once you’ve received medical treatment or made a purchase covered by your policy, the next step is to make a claim. There are several ways you can lodge a claim with St.Luke’sHealth:

  1. On-the-spot: Around 20,000 Australian specialist providers have the HICAPS electronic claim system – just make sure you remember to bring your St.Luke’sHealth membership card to process the claim immediately.
  2. Mobile app: Make claims using the St.Luke’sHealth mobile claiming app (available for iPhone and Android devices). Simply register a few details, take a photo of your receipt, and press submit.
  3. In person: Claims can be made at any St.Luke’sHealth office or claims agent. You will need your St.Luke’sHealth membership card in order to claim at an agency. Agencies are restricted from paying benefit on some services.
  4. By post: You can download and fill out a claim form, attach your receipt from the specialist provider, and post this paperwork to:
