What savings accounts does NAB offer?

NAB offers the following savings accounts at the time of writing:

NAB iSaver

A flexible savings account that comes with a base interest rate and a four-month bonus interest rate. 

NAB Reward Saver

NAB’s main savings account that comes with no montly account keeping fees or minimum deposit rquirements.

Do NAB savings accounts require a linked transaction account?

NAB does not require linked transaction accounts to its Reward Saver accounts. However, you will require one for the iSaver account.

Does NAB charge fees on its savings accounts?

Savings accounts can come with several fees, such as monthly account-keeping fees, transaction fees, withdrawal fees and more. According to their website NAB charges no monthly or transaction fees on its Reward Saver account at the time of writing (9/8/18).

What does NAB offer in terms of mobile banking for savings accounts?

NAB offers both online and mobile banking for its savings products, with its app available in both the Apple and Google store. Notable features of NAB’s mobile banking include:

  • Make fast payments with eligible accounts
  • Create, cancel or modify scheduled and recurring payments
  • Share your reciepts by SMS, email or even save them to your phone

How to apply for a NAB savings account

Before applying for a NAB savings account, onsider comparing it against other savings accounts on the market to ensure it is the right one for you. You can then apply for a NAB savings account online, provided you have the correct documentation:

  • At least one form of ID, such as your driver’s license or passport
  • Accurate personal information, such as your name, date of birth, address and phone number

NAB states that it does not require a minimum deposit to be made before activation and claims that applying online can be done in as little as seven minutes.
