Aussie shoppers could soon be stocking their cupboards with KitchenAid gear just by doing their weekly grocery run. Coles is launching its latest cookware collection on February 4, offering Flybuys members the chance to bag seven premium KitchenAid items for free—provided you know how to play your credits right.
Earning your new kitchen cookware is straightforward, but you must be a Flybuys member to participate.
Each KitchenAid item is worth a specific number of credits and/or cash. For example, the 24cm casserole pot with lid is 80 credits or half-pay: $40 + 40 credits. To earn those 40 credits, you’ll need to spend $800 at Coles.
Yes, $800 seems like a lot at face value but if you’re spending $200 on your weekly grocery shop, you’ll earn those credits in four weeks–and you’ll come out the other side with a brand new pot without having to fork out the extra cash for it.
To get the most value from this offer, stick to your regular grocery budget. Spending extra just to chase credits rarely pays off, especially if you end up spending more than the cookware is worth.
The same applies to bonus credits. Swapping a budget homebrand for a pricier name brand means you pay more at the checkout. Instead of a ‘free’ reward, you’ve simply increased your weekly bill and reduced the actual value of your new kitchen gear.
The range includes seven cookware items designed for all stovetops, including induction. Shoppers can collect frypans and saucepans, casserole pots and utensils, plus a mini food chopper.
While most items can be redeemed using full credits, the mini food chopper is only available at half-pay. This means you’ll need to use a mix of credits and cash to get it. Also, you can only earn one bonus credit per brand family, so stocking up on 10 boxes of the same tea won’t speed things up as much as you might think.
Here’s how much you’ll need to spend to get your hands on each of the items:

You can redeem your credits in-store or online, except for the mini food chopper, which is in-store only. The official earn and redeem phase runs from February 4 to May 19. However, a pre-earn period runs from January 28 to February 3 for customers who have participated in previous redemptions.
