With the cost of living biting, forking out for a pricey new appliance right now isn't ideal. However, ALDI is offering a little relief with its famed middle aisle sale. From April 18, shoppers can grab vacuums, washers, dryers and TVs, all for under $400.

In addition to the regular items like clothes and home essentials, here's what you can find at ALDI this Saturday:

- $249 Tineco GO H20 MAX Wet Dry Floor Washer: This cult favourite usually retails for $399. It's a two-in-one floor tool that cleans wet and dry messes, is self cleaning and comes with an LED screen display.
- $329 Stirling 6KG Front Load Washing Machine: You'll find 16 wash settings, child lock and a 6KG load capacity.
- $269 Stirling 6kg Vented Clothes Dryer: This dryer is wall mountable with multiple drying settings, three heat modes and electronic controls.
- $229 Bauhn 40" Full HD Smart TV with webOS: This TV typically retails for over $300. You'll find multiple input ports, a built in speaker, HD quality and built in streaming apps.
- $399 Bauhn 55" Ultra HD Smart TV with webOS: This TV is currently selling for over $400 at multiple online retailers. It comes with 4K Ultra HD resolution, built-in stereo speakers and pre-installed streaming apps.
Is the sale worth it?
If you were already in the market for one of these appliances, this weeks Special Buys could be an excellent opportunity. However, avoid impulse buying simply because a good sale comes along. Do your research to find out if these appliances will be the best value for your money and suit your needs.
Depending on what you need, you may be better off waiting for the annual End of Financial Year sale, which is set to hit in June. You'll have more brands to choose from and may find bigger savings.
