ALDI’s middle aisle is heating up on May 23, with the return of its annual snow gear Special Buys sale.

This year, there are more than 50 items on offer with prices starting at $4.99 and capped at $100.

Aldi says Aussie adults can kit themselves out from $255, kids from $187, and a family of four can be fully equipped for the slopes or winter adventures for under $884.

Snow gear 2026 hot picks

If you're simply looking to keep warm this winter, you can grab thermals and fleecy layers, as well as jumpers, boots and accessories. However, if you're shaping up to hit the slopes, there's plenty of snow-ready gear for the whole family.

How to get beat the sale rush

If you're looking to pick up any of these items, it's best to get in quick. ALDI’s snow gear sale is one of its most popular of the year and has sold out within days in the past.

One way you might be able to beat the rush is by ordering items on DoorDash as soon as the sale goes live. This is the first time the Special Buys snow gear sale will be available to order through the delivery app, but it will be limited to smaller items like socks and gloves.

As always, make sure you compare before you buy. ALDI’s offering snow-wear and accessories at great prices, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the best value. Shop around and choose the best brand, quality and cost for your budget.
