Origin Energy benefits and rewards

Origin Energy Rewards

Origin Energy customers have access to Origin Energy Rewards, which include offers such as:

  • Up to 10c off fuel at participating EG fuel locations
  • Other rewards through participating retail partners, including Everyday Rewards, The Good Guys, 7-Eleven, The Iconic, Temple & Webster and more.

Origin Energy has a refer-a-friend offer for residential and small business electricity and gas customers. Both referrer and referee will receive a bill credit once signed up.

Customers on select plans can earn up to 10,000 Everyday Rewards points on sign up (for selected plans), plus one point for every $1 charged for usage and supply charges.

Origin Spike

Eligible Origin Spike customers can enjoy a free hour of electricity (up to 10 kWh for residential customers and 35kWh for businesses) when they lower energy use during Spike hours - times of peak electricity grid use.

Utilities bundling

Origin Energy also offers home broadband plans through NBN and OptiComm. Customers who bundle a home internet plan and any eligible energy plan with Origin will receive an ongoing $10 off per month.

Origin Energy’s app makes it easy for you to access your MyAccount as well as:

  • Manage your account: Change plans, organise a move and update personal information and payment details.
  • Concession details: Eligible card holders can easily add or edit government concessions.
  • Energy usage information: Check your energy usage and see your solar FiT.
  • Billing and payments: Pay your bills, view past bills and payments and request a payment extension.
  • Submit meter readings: Submit your own meter read to avoid a meter reader visit to your home or business.
