Updates are applied in accordance with the effective date provided by the retailer. Plans are sorted by default from lowest to highest based on estimated monthly, yearly, or bill-day costs.

For products displayed to you after completing the question and answer journey on the energy comparison platform, the estimated cost includes any applicable welcome credits, bonuses, and conditional discounts (if applicable) that apply within the first 12 months of the plan. All estimated costs are inclusive of GST.

Any other fees or charges applied by the retailer are not included in the estimated cost. Details on any additional fees can be found in the View Details section for each plan.

Some electricity plans may include a demand charge, which is not calculated in cost estimations and plan rankings until demand usage is inputted in the bill comparison section using existing bills.

Initial recommendations are based on average medium usage levels for electricity (as estimated by relevant energy regulators) and average low usage for gas (as estimated by ACIL Allen).

The Estimated Cost is based on single rate tariffs, unless otherwise specified.
