2024 is the first year Lumo Energy has won Canstar's Most Satisfied Customers award for electricity providers in Victoria.

Owned by renewable energy generation company Snowy Hydro, Lumo Energy provides gas and electricity services across Victoria and South Australia.

Lumo Energy offers Victorians a small range of market offers that currently feature variable rates (although fixed-rate deals are occasionally available). Benefits include no standard connection and disconnection fees for those moving homes, and a rewards program offering discounts from a wide range of retailers.

Tango Energy is the retail arm of renewable power generation company Pacific Hydro. Tango primarily operates in Victoria, providing customers with a small selection of market offers. Perhaps best-known as a phone and internet provider, Dodo has made the move into selling power and natural gas. A fairly no-frills retailer, Dodo operates with a single variable rate market offer, usually competitively priced. This is a no-contract agreement with no exit fees. Dodo encourages its customers to sign up for multiple services, offering a monthly internet discount for bundling NBN and electricity and/or gas. Dodo placed fourth in Victoria's 2024 Most Satisfied Customers award for electricity providers.
