Terms and Conditions and Eligibility Requirements

Subject to the eligibility requirements set out below, you can receive an e-gift card to the value of ten dollars (AUD$10) as a promotion provided by Canstar.

To be eligible to receive the $10 e-gift card, you must follow this process, and meet these eligibility requirements: (1) must be an Australian resident over 18 years and over (2) download the Canstar App (3) register for a new Canstar account (4) enter promotional code at the time of registering a Canstar account on the App.

Limitations and Conditions of e-gift card

Maximum of one (1) e-gift card to the value of $10 per person.

The e-gift card will be sent to you via your nominated email address within two (2) business days. 

You must click on the link in the email by 31 March 2024 to activate the e-gift card. If you do not activate the e-gift card by 31 March 2024, the e-gift card will expire. 

Exchange the e-gift card for up to any five retailer Gift Cards of your choice! The e-gift card has an expiry date of 31 March 2024 for users to redeem their gift. Once the new gift card has been selected new expiry dates will be set and terms and conditions apply to the specific Retailer Gift Card https://www.prezzee.com.au/doc/terms-of-sale/.

Canstar will distribute a total number of 3,490 (unless otherwise extended by Canstar) e-gift cards during the promotion.

The promotional period commences on 08:00 AEST on 1 February 2024 and concludes 17:00 AEST 29 February 2024 (or prior if the e-gift card allocation numbers have been exhausted and not otherwise extended by Canstar). Canstar will place a notice on this page if the e-gift card allocation is exhausted prior to the planned end date of the promotion. 

If you already have the Canstar App, and are signed up as an existing Canstar account member, prior to 7:59am AEST 31 January 2023, you are not eligible to receive an e-gift card.

Additional Conditions

• The e-gift cards will be distributed by a third-party provider, Prezzee. Your registration details (full name and email address) will be provided to Prezzee to allow Prezzee to distribute the $10 e-gift card to you. Please review our Privacy Policy which provides information on how Canstar looks after personal information (including distribution to third parties). 
• Canstar reserves the right to verify the validity of the provided email addresses. If the provided email address is found to be invalid or results in bounced emails during the course of the promotion, the offer will not be fulfilled. It is the responsibility of participants to ensure that their email addresses are up-to-date and capable of receiving communications from Canstar.
• By entering the promotion, you agree to be bound by the applicable General Terms and Conditions of Canstar found here; the Prezzee Smart eGift Card Terms and Conditions found here; and these terms and conditions.
• Nothing in these terms and conditions or the General Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Australian Consumer Law, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia. (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, Canstar (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
• Canstar reserves the right to extend or withdraw this offer at any time at its sole discretion, modify and amend these terms and conditions from time to time during the promotion upon notice to you.
