Hi [Customer’s Name], its [scammer’s name] from Canstar. How are you doing?

Customer: I’m good how are you?

You: I’m great thanks for asking

Reason for my brief call today [customer name] Last year you expressed an interest in optimising your savings with a move competitive interest rate and I’m just calling today to find out if you still would like to receive the latest information on that?

Is your email still (confirm email address)

Great that’s the email address we have on the system.

Now if you interested [customer name] the next steps I said I would ask you one or two qualifying questions and send that over along with your details and convenient time to call again to one of our qualified financial advisors.

I won’t take much of your time.

At the moment, several banks, including Judo Bank, HSBC, and ING, are offering premium rates for new customers. For example, their 1-year term deposit rate for new customers is currently up to 5.75% per annum, and these deposits are covered by the $250,000 government guarantee.

I sure a great businessman like yourself wouldn’t want to miss the opportunity to increase his wealth. Would that be ok?

Great. I just have a few quick questions to ensure we can provide you with the most relevant options:

  1. Could you please confirm the amount you’re looking to deposit?
  2. And what term length are you most interested in?
  3. How soon are you looking to move forward with setting up this deposit?

Thank you! Based on what you’ve shared, I’d be happy to arrange for one our financial advisors to contact you with more specific information and answer any questions you may have.

Would you be available for a call within the next day or two, or do you have a preferred time for a representative to reach out?

Great, I’ll set that up for you.

Thanks again for choosing Canstar and have a great day!
