Bupa Health Insurance

Bupa Australia is part of the Bupa Group, which is an international healthcare company with over 29 million health insurance customers. In Australia, Bupa is best known as a health insurance provider, but it also offers a range of other insurance products, such as home, pet, car and travel insurance.

HBF Health Insurance

HBF (Hospital Benefit Fund) has been in operation for more than 80 years and is best known as being a not-for-profit provider of private health insurance in Australia. It acquired health insurance provider GMF in 2015. It has also signed a partnership with Great Southern Bank to offer its customers health insurance under the brand see-u by HBF.

HCF Health Insurance

HCF was established over 90 years ago and is best known for being a not-for-profit health fund that provides private health insurance to Australian consumers. It opened its first branch in the late 1930s and by 1942 became known as the Hospitals Contribution Fund of NSW. HCF is also a provider of life, travel, home, car and pet insurance.

Medibank Health Insurance

Medibank Private was established in 1976 by the Australian Government. In 2009, Medibank acquired then Wollongong-based health insurer ahm. Medibank is best known as a health insurance provider, but it also offers travel, pet and life insurance.

Qantas Health Insurance

Qantas is an Australian airline that also offers health insurance, as well as a range of other financial products including credit cards, car insurance, home insurance and travel insurance. Qantas health insurance is underwritten by nib, and offers a variety of health insurance policies that are designed to suit singles, couples, families or single parent families. These policies can provide hospital-only cover, extras-only cover, or a combination of hospital and extras.
