The best NBN business providers

The providers rated are listed below in order of best overall satisfaction.

1. Aussie Broadband

Winning our small business NBN provider ratings for the first time, Aussie Broadband scored five stars in almost all categories, including overall satisfaction, value for money, client service, clarity and flexibility of contract, and bill clarity. It scored its only four-star result for network performance.

Aussie Broadband offers a range of NBN plans to suit your business needs, starting at NBN 25 speeds and going up to NBN 2000. Plans also include features such as optional add-on modems, a free Static IP address, 4G backup (with eligible hardware) and priority fault restoration, to help keep your business connected.


2. Telstra

Telstra took second place, scoring four stars for overall satisfaction along with client service and bill clarity. While it scored three stars for value for money, it scored five stars in the remaining categories.

Telstra’s business plans are fairly straightforward, with plans starting from NBN 50 speeds and going up to NBN 1000 speeds. Plans include a modem with 4G mobile backup during outages, unlimited calls to standard Australian landlines and mobile numbers, unlimited data and advanced cyber security.


3. TPG

TPG came in third place, scoring four stars for overall satisfaction, value for money, client service, and clarity and flexibility of contract. It scored three stars for network performance and bill clarity.

While TPG doesn’t directly offer business NBN plans on its website, which focuses on residential plans, customers are directed to the TPG Telecom site to access business internet plans. There are a range of speed options available and plans include a Static IP address, 4G backup and a $0 modem when you stay connected for 24 months.


4. Optus

Last year’s winner, Optus, dropped down to last place in our 2025 ratings, scoring three stars for overall satisfaction and client service. It scored four stars in all remaining categories including value for money and network performance.

Optus offers a wider range of NBN speeds for its business plans, with speeds starting at NBN 50 and going up to NBN 1000 (actual speeds experienced may differ). Plans include an optional static IP address along with NBN priority fault restoration.
