If you decide to open a Macquarie Bank savings account, you will need to meet the following criteria:

- Be a permanent Australian resident

Additionally, the savings account must be in the same name(s) as your Macquarie transaction account. In the case of joint accounts, the savings account must be in the name of at least one or combination of transaction account holders’ name(s).
