From flights around Australia, to exclusive AFL opportunities – the new NAB Rewards Program gives customers more choice.

Credit card reward programs are nothing new, but NAB has broadened its offering by launching a newly revamped loyalty program, NAB Rewards.

With three different credit card options – Classic, Platinum, and Business – NAB Rewards allows customers to earn and redeem points on more than 1,500 goods and services.

NAB’s rewards credit cards could previously only earn Qantas Points, Velocity Points or flybuys points.

NAB Executive General Manager of Consumer Lending, Angus Gilfillan, said the bank was proud to deliver competitive rewards to Australians.

“Our customers are our top priority, and we have worked long and hard to secure some of the best offers for our customers. This is just one way we want to demonstrate how much we value their relationship with NAB,” Gilfillan said.

Also, purchases made in major department and hardware stores earn ‘double points’ (standard point + 1 additional standard point).

Through the NAB mobile banking app, customers have the ability to access and keep track of the rewards program, and the offers available to them.

“NAB Rewards gives customer more flexibility, control and choice so they can be rewarded the way they want,” Gilfillan said.

“NAB rewards will not only help them get more out of their everyday spending, but also help them enjoy big ticket items such as family holidays.”

Some of the main highlights of the program include:

1. Webjet

Through this partnership, NAB Rewards customers can book any seat anytime on any airline.

Webjet Managing Director, John Guscic, said the connection with NAB Rewards is continuing to add value with customers who are given the ability to triple their points by booking flights through Webjet.

“Being able to earn and redeem, points on any flight from Webjet’s broad range of airline partners is exceptional value for the NAB rewards customer,” he said.

2. AFL

NAB Rewards members will have access to an exclusive range of AFL offers, memorabilia, memberships and tickets.

NAB and the AFL have had a long standing partnership and AFL General Manager of Commercial Operations, Darren Birch, said they are more than happy to work with NAB on this great initiative.

3. Charitable Donations

With the largest list of charity partner for any Australian bank loyalty program, NAB customers can now use their points to create positive change by donating to more than 80 charities.

“Our mission is to make giving easy, efficient and rewarding, which is what is so great about the NAB rewards program,” Good2Give CEO Lisa Grinham said.
