Christine Long

Christine Long has spent three decades writing about money, work, and business. From a career that started with a research job on a personal finance magazine, she went on to edit Money Management newspaper. She was the launch deputy editor for a magazine about employee benefits in the UK and a journalist on the Financial Times website. As a contributor to The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age Money section she returned to her first love of personal finance and co-ordinated columns such as The Sydney Morning Herald’s Money Makeover and Crunchtime. Her writing career has included travel writing and sub-editing for Travel + Leisure Australia, food reviewing for publications such as Everyday Eats and The Good Pub Food Guide, and writing about the arts for ArtsHub website.
