Top 10 Selling Cars in October 2018

The results have been released for the top 10 selling cars in October, revealing the iconic Aussie ute has reclaimed its position as the nation’s most popular vehicle to buy.

According to the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI), the Toyota Hilux re-claimed first place as the top-selling vehicle, with 4,401 sales in October.

Total sales for October – including passenger cars, SUVs, light and heavy commercial vehicles and the national government fleet – were down 5.3% from the same time last year, sitting at 90,718 sales.

Two light commercial vehicles again led the market for the month, with the Toyota Hilux coming out in first place ahead of second-placed Ford Ranger with 3,511 sales.
