A credit card is often an important cashflow tool for many businesses and when linked to a good rewards program, savvy business owners can reap real benefit. This is particularly true for those who pay off their credit card balance in full each month.

The benefit that you receive though will depend on which card you chose, with our most recent research finding wide variation on benefit per dollar spent between the cards on offer. As a general rule, the average benefits per spending level are as follows:
