Police Credit Union opened its doors back in 1970 to serve the South Australian police force, but today the credit union states that anyone may apply for membership. PCU currently operates seven branches across SA and the Northern Territory, serving more than 39,000 members as of the time of writing. The credit union says that it covers the comprehensive range of banking needs, and that it exists solely to benefit the needs of its members by reinvesting profits back into better products and services.
