We value your expertise

Our readers love insights; insights into business strategy, product and economic analysis, well-researched opinion, investment philosophy and personal anecdotes. In addition to our terrific team of in-house writers, we value the fresh ideas and on-the-ground experience of product managers, senior executives, academics, professional associations and experts in the field. If that sounds like you, you are welcome to contribute an original article for our consideration.

Canstar does not endorse the opinions or recommendations of third party contributors who are published on our website, and the author or organisation must be listed clearly on every article, to ensure correct attribution.

What to know

Canstar accepts articles on a wide range of subjects, as detailed above. Despite the complex nature of some topics, all articles should be written in an easy-to-read style and should avoid the use of jargon and acronyms. An ideal article length is 800 – 1200 words. Articles must be unique to us in the first instance, however articles may subsequently be published on the author’s site, with correct attribution.

Articles must be factually correct and provide a balanced message; i.e they should not be overly promotional or advertorial.

Articles should be written for an Australian audience and be accurate for Australian law and regulations. Within the article, references to research should be hyperlinked for easy proofing, and possible editing by Canstar.

Contributors warrant that their work is original and that it does not defame anyone or breach copyright. If your work is unsolicited, please contact us with your topic suggestion in the first instance to editorial@canstar.com.au.
