SCHEDULE TO CANSTAR PROMOTION GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Promotion name: “Canstar Community Survey” Competition
This Promotion Schedule is incorporated into and forms part of Canstar’s “General Terms and Conditions of Promotions”, available at http://www.canstar.com.au/terms-of-use/. The General Terms and Conditions apply to the Promotion subject of this Promotion Schedule. To the extent of any conflict between this Promotion Schedule and the General Terms and Conditions, this Promotion Schedule will prevail.

- Promotion Period
This Promotion commences at 6:00am AEST on Monday 18 November 2024 and closes 5:00pm AEST on Monday 9th December 2024.
This promotion will be advertised during this period across Canstar newsletters.
- How to enter
Entry is only open to Australian residents who are 18 years and over. Only one entry per person is allowed, entries with plus addresses will not be counted.
To enter the Promotion, Entrants must fully complete the relevant survey.

As per the General Terms and Conditions.
- Details of Prize and value
The three winning Entrants of the draw will be entitled to receive one $500 Prezzee gift voucher each, subject to eligibility. There are a total of three $500 Prezzee gift vouchers available during this Promotion. Each individual can only win one prize.
- Draw date, time and location
The three winning Entrants will be randomly selected from a list of eligible entrants. The draw will take place at 12:00PM AEST on Tuesday 10th December 2024 at Level 22, 143 Turbot Street, Brisbane, QLD, 4000.
The three winning Entrants will be notified by publication on the Canstar website and also by their nominated email no later than 5:00PM AEST on Tuesday 10th December 2024. The Prize Winner must claim their Prize within five (5) business days of being notified by Canstar.
In order for the winning Entrants to claim their prize, they must notify Canstar via email reply within five (5) business days of Canstar emailing to notify them that they are the winning Entrant, The winning Entrants must confirm in the email response of their:
- acceptance of the prize,
- full name,
- contact phone number,
- year of birth,
- approval for Canstar to announce their name as the Prize winner on the website www.canstar.com.au, Facebook competition post and on relevant publications.
Where the winning Entrant has provided these details within the timeframe, the prize will be delivered to the winning Entrant via Prezzee to their validly nominated email address.
Should the winning Entrant not claim their Prize within five (5) business days of being notified (that being at most, by 5:00PM AEST Tuesday 17th December 2024), Canstar may, at its discretion, re-determine a new winning Entrant by a random computerized draw, or discontinue the Promotion. If a re-draw occurs, the draw will take place at 12:00PM AEST on Tuesday 17th December 2024 at Level 22, 143 Turbot Street, Brisbane, QLD, 4000. The winning Entrant of the re-draw will be notified by publication on the Canstar website and by nominated email no later than 5:00pm AEST on Tuesday 17th December 2024. The winning Entrant of the re-draw must claim their Prize within five (5) business days of being notified by Canstar (that being, 5:00pm AEST on Tuesday 24th December 2024). Should the winning Entrant of the re-draw not claim their Prize by this time, the Promotion will be discontinued.

- Limitations and Conditions of e-gift card
- The e-gift cards will be distributed by a third-party provider, Prezzee. Your registration details (full name and email address) will be provided to Prezzee to allow Prezzee to distribute the e-gift card to the Winning Entrants. Please review our Privacy Policy which provides information on how Canstar looks after personal information (including distribution to third parties).
- Canstar reserves the right to verify the validity of the provided email addresses. If the provided email address is found to be invalid or results in bounced emails during the course of the promotion, the offer will not be fulfilled. It is the responsibility of participants to ensure that their email addresses are up-to-date and capable of receiving communications from Canstar.
- By entering the promotion, you agree to be bound by the applicable General Terms and Conditions of Canstar found here; the Prezzee Smart eGift Card Terms and Conditions found here; and these terms and conditions.
- Additional conditions
- Clause 31 of the General Terms and Conditions will be replaced by the following clause: The Prize Winner will be notified by publication on the Canstar website and also email by no later than 5:00PM AEST on Monday 9th December 2024.
- Clause 32 of the General Terms and Conditions will be replaced by the following clause: “Results of this Promotion will be published on the Promoter’s website at https://www.canstar.com.au/ within 1 business day of Canstar receiving confirmation of the Prize Winner accepting the Prize.
- The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought, as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting a prize.
- The Promoter and its associated companies may use entrants’ names and submission contents for any commercial purpose, including future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes, for an unlimited period without remuneration.
- By entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees to be bound by the General Terms and Conditions, read in conjunction with this Schedule, and agrees to the terms of Canstar’s Privacy Policy.
- Nothing in this Schedule or the General Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Australian Consumer Law, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia. (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, Canstar (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion.
- Canstar reserves the right to extend or withdraw this offer at any time at its sole discretion, modify and amend these terms and conditions from time to time during the promotion upon notice to you.
