Whenever the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) changes the cash rate, home loan lenders tend to pass the change on to borrowers.

After a series of cuts last year, the RBA has now hiked the cash rate four times in 2026, most recently in September. Per the latest predictions from economists at the big four banks, we may yet see another hike in November.

If you’re wondering whether it’s a good time to fix your home loan, or to find a better rate, below is a summary of the current home loan rates on Canstar’s database for both owner occupiers and investors.

To explore in more detail, you can compare home loans using our comparison tables. If you want to know more about investment mortgages, you can also compare investment home loans.
