2020 Car Insurance Star Ratings & Awards
Canstar’s Car Insurance Star Ratings use a sophisticated and unique ratings methodology that compares both price and features across comprehensive car insurance products on its database.
Canstar’s Star Ratings represent a shortlist of products, enabling consumers to narrow their search to products that have been assessed and ranked. The results are reflected in a consumer-friendly one to five-star system, with five stars representing outstanding value to the consumer.
National and state-specific Outstanding Value Awards are given to providers based on their performance in the Star Ratings.
In addition to the expert Ratings and Awards, the Outstanding Claims Service Award is based on the results of a survey of car insurance policyholders which gauges customer satisfaction across several different aspects of the car insurance claims process.
