About Jetstar

jetstar-logoThe Jetstar Group includes Jetstar Airways in Australia and New Zealand, Jetstar Asia Airways in Singapore, Jetstar Pacific Airways in Vietnam, and Jetstar Japan in (you guessed it) Japan. Collectively that means more than 4,000 flights per week to over 75 destinations. It has flown more than 140 million passengers since launching in 2004. Overall the Jetstar Group is advertised as one of the largest low cost airline networks by revenue.

Our Aussie branch, Jetstar Airways, is a wholly owned subsidiary company of the Qantas Group. It was launched in 2004 as a low-fare airline carrier. Today, they fly to and from 19 Australian domestic airports and 17 short- and long-haul overseas destinations.

In late 2009, Jetstar launched the Jetstar MasterCard and the Jetstar Platinum MasterCard, partnering with Macquarie Bank.

In terms of corporate and social responsibility, Jetstar focusses on community partnerships. So far they have helped raised over $7 million (AUD) to support the StarKids development projects in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, together with World Vision. They also offer grants worth $30,000 to fund charitable community projects.
